Our wish for this project is two-fold. First, we want to maintain a clean school campus and surrounding street by regularly maintaining a litter-free landscape. Second, we want to educate our K-12 school community so that whenever they see litter, they will be empowered to pick it up and dispose of it appropriately.
1. We will collect and analyze the trash on our campus and surrounding street. 2. We will research and purchase "grip and grab" tools to help make picking up trash easier and more fun 3. We will create a maintenance schedule for our K-12 school for the campus and the surrounding street. 4. We will make a case to our school administrators that we will need another trash receptacle on our yard by a street where a lot of trash blows under our fence. 5. We will work with our art teacher to design and make permanent signs for our school yard that empower our community members to keep our campus clean.
