Our wish for this project was to reduce the amount of waste surrounding Block House Creek in an area known as Jumano Park. Recent rain water increase has led to the washing away of trash around the body of water and we want to reduce this trash build-up.
For this simple project, we will walk up and down the creek with gloves on and trash bags ready and pick up any trash along the sides of the creek. We will stop when we reach the highway bridge at the end of the trails, as the creek becomes to big to accommodate for two people. After we pick up the trash, we will dispose of it properly, away from the park.
