The Problem
The wish for my project is to involve school children in fundraisers and collections that help abused and neglected animals. My belief is that if children are taught sensitivity to needs of animals at a young age, then they will grow into responsible, caring adults who will not mistreat animals.
Our Plan
Interested parents and children will work with school principals to organize in kind collections for animal rescue organizations of their choice. It will be organized and run by the children: creating posters, communicating with rescue organization staff, promotion, collecting and counting items, etc.
