The Problem
To celebrate the International Day of Peace by participating in a "chalk in" at John Adams Elementary School and The Early Childhood Center. The Early Childhood Center will provide chalk to the students, teachers and administrators in grades K-5 in order to participate in a celebration of Peace. Each classroom will be encouraged to promote the idea of peace through chalk art-we hope to cover the entire blacktop with messages of peace and unconditional positive regard for all people on this incredible day. We will also participate and encourage all to join us in a moment of silence at 12:00 noon.
