The Problem
We have found that some students make poor behavioral choices during recess and lunch time on the school yard. They express conflict in inappropriately verbal and/or physical ways. Research studies have shown that by increasing green space in an environment, peaceful behavior increases and stressful and aggressive behaviors decrease.
