The Problem
The goal of Hydroponic Plants: Sustainable Farming in Alexandria is to create a public hydroponic system which would allow city residents, especially those with low socioeconomic status, access to affordable, fresh produce.
Our Plan
Our project, Hydroponic Plants: Sustainable Farming in Alexandria, will allow people with different socioeconomic background to have access to locally grown, affordable produce. We will accomplish this by bringing a hydroponic garden to our community. Our first step is gaining our city's approval. Our team has had several meetings with various city officials, including the vice mayor and the sustainability committee. Now we need to collect funds and resources so that we can bring a hydroponic garden into our city.
