Our team of youth volunteers would like to educate and help our community be compassionate towards migrant and refugee populations. We are raising funds to assist these people pay rent, but winter clothes, find shelter and food expenses. Spreading kindness through getting to know some of these families who are struggling is also a goal.
We formed a company where as officers we are hosting a dinner for about 100 people to fundraise and get to know a few of these refugees and migrant families. We will assemble a team of youth and adult volunteers to collaborate with local businesses, market, do PR campaigns, make videos, sell tickets to the event and work as hosts, clean up crew and servers at the event to be held on April 6th 2025 at Salem UMC, Barrington.
