The Problem
Our hope is that the youngest members of our school district will be inspired by the high school mentors who will visit them to teach and help plan and facilitate a consistent program of recycling and environmental awareness.
Our Plan
We will design recycle bins that are attractive, colorful, and fun to entice the elementary school students to use them. We will advise the students, share our success at the high school, but allow them the autonomy to make their own decisions. We will make ourselves available to help them implement their plans. We will also provide a bridge between administration, teachers and students.
