The Problem

We hope this project inspires people to talk with UC Davis administration, or their own administration in any institution,` and hold them accountable for their goal of zero waste. Increasing the number of compost cans on campus will help UC Davis reach their goal and become a sustainable, zero waste institution.

Our Plan

Our project shows the surprising lack of compost cans on a campus who's motto is Zero Waste. We showed the stark contrast between how many trash cans are available and how many options for composting are available by mapping where trash cans and compost cans exist in the most popular parts of the UC Davis Camps.
