The Problem

We wanted to help animals and people who were impacted or hurt in the Hurricanes that were so awful in August, and after researching organizations, chose to support the South Florida Wildlife Center in their efforts to heal and support wildlife that have been injured or orphaned in Hurricane Irma. We hoped to raise some money to support them, as they suffered over $350,000 in damage and took in many injured and orphaned animals, and we also wanted to encourage the people working their so we were going to do things like make cards and write messages thanking them and take pictures of our group doing work to support them and send these to them to give them something to let them know we were grateful for them.
