The Problem

We would like to re-design and re-plant our green spaces so that they are water-efficient and sustainable in our current drought conditions in California. We are starting a gardening club to help support the change. We also want to learn about growing our own fruits and vegetables in a way that is also drought-friendly.

Our Plan

We will be repurposing the existing green spaces on our new school campus and replanting the areas with drought-resistant greenery. We will also be learning how to grow vegetables seasonally in our existing garden boxes.
