By participating in the production of Coastal Clean Up Day in our local community, our group helps to educate the public about both their footprint as well as their ability to make a measurable difference in the world.
Our Plan
Our yearly invasion of Heal the Bay's outstanding Coastal Cleanup endeavor teaches our kids that you can make a difference and empowers them to take action on causes close to their heart, which is a Roots and Shoots mantra. We also use this early fall event to kick off our year-long campaign about environmental education. This day is an integral part of that.
