The Problem

Children grow out of their clothes very quickly. Making new clothes requires natural resources and often, clothes end up in the trash creating unnecessary waste.

Our Plan

In order to reduce our impact, we do not buy new clothes. We shop at thrift stores or ask our friends and family for clothes they are no longer using.

Here is how the project went:

We love shopping at thrift stores! And washing, folding, and storing clothes for future use.

Through this project I/we learned:

To value and care for the things we have so that they can be preserved for a long time.

What I/we might change:

We would ask more often for hand-me-downs.

My/our favorite part of this project was:

Seeing our son in cute clothes.
