The focus of this project is to give the men and women in the U.S. military a little taste of home around Halloween to put a smile on their face. Kids collect so much candy while trick or treating and the goal is to collect candy to send it overseas.
Students in Roots & Shoots will stand at the drop-off line in the morning before school starts. An email will have been sent home to inform parents and students to bring any candy the wish to donate to school. Roots & Shoots members will take the candy, box it, and give it to Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops.
