The Problem
We are planting a variety of milkweed plants and varied flowers to attract butterflies, bees and all pollinators.
Our Plan
In our little meditation garden at school, we will plant bulbs for spring and summer flowers, as well as some fall plants to attract the insect wildlife that so desperately need our help! We know that Butterflies and Bees are having a hard time of it. We use vinegar and water to spray our precious plants and flowers. We weed by hand, on our knees and have planted all native plants in our garden...We manged to get a couple in Baisley Pond Park, too (all natives)!
