The Problem

Many children in our community whether from wealthy families or those with hardships do not know where our food comes from. At home here with our children we have always grown most of our vegetables from scratch, shown our children the whole process and have taught them to love gardening and learning to provide for ourselves. At this time the idea is small scale, but I know it will make a difference. I want to grow multiple plants of multiple vegetables and fruits then pass them onto the children in our own children classes, with instructions on how to grow. At the same time offer my time to the school to teach children where our food comes from and teach that growing our own food is a valuable life lesson and it can be so easy and so simple and also can be very affordable. I am so very motivated to help this next generation not loose the knowledge. If we can teach children the value and right they have to be self sufficient in this way, just imagine, what could be. I truly want to offer my knowledge. Thank you so much for your time.

Our Plan

At this stage to educate children in our local school one way of self sufficiency. Growing food, saving seeds, teaching the process. It's not hard if you know how. Giving classes and offering pre planted veggies and fruits to children/parents so they can grow something at home to begin with.
