The Problem
I recruit fourth and fifth grade (3rd graders in May/June) to separate recyclables at breakfast and lunch in school. My wish is that, by example, we can teach young children, and old alike, to make less waste.
Our Plan
School year, each year - I train students to put the paper, metal, plastic and food stuffs in separate bins...Give unused food to classmates or take home in book bag for later. LESS WASTE!!!
