The Problem

Our second grade classroom is learning all about how to care for the Earth. They are using Jane Goodall and her work as inspiration! Reading about her has inspired these young children to educate others and do what's best for our environment. Our wish is that the people in our lives will recognize the negative impact humans can have on the environment and try to change it.

Our Plan

We have vowed to reduce our water and electricity usage. We will recycle the products we can at school and at home. We will pick up garbage wherever we see it and put it in the proper containers. We will find interesting ways to reuse items that can not be recycled and that will otherwise be thrown away in the landfills. We will educate others about ways they can help our Earth, too!
