The Problem

Rising food costs and economic pressures make it increasingly difficult to ensure children have consistent access to fresh, healthy produce at an affordable rate. At the same time, students face limited opportunities for hands-on environmental education, local pollinator habitats continue to decline, and practical water conservation practices remain underutilized in the community.

Our Plan

Establishing the Goretti Learning Garden as an interactive outdoor classroom featuring raised garden beds to grow fresh, low-cost produce directly for student meals, a dedicated butterfly garden planted with native flora to restore pollinator habitats, and an integrated rain catchment system to teach sustainable water stewardship.
