The Problem

Our goal for this project is to learn about the gopher tortoise native to our area and to let members meet for the 1st time. We will also let the kids play at the playground and we will discuss a good date/location for picking up litter in our community. This playground is full of nature and it has a duck pond and some gopher tortoises actually reside here. We look forward to seeing you all!

Our Plan

We will learn all about the gopher tortoise and why they are important to our area. We will get to know one another and plan another activity for the future. Saturday Dec. 16th is when we will meet at 10:30am. Feel free to bring snacks and dress accordingly for the weather because we will be outside.
