The Problem
1. Cleaning up areas that are littered with trash to reduce ecological impacts of trash pollution. 2. Creating a platform that encourages anyone anywhere to get outside and clean up spaces in their community. 3. Raise money for the Jane Goodall Institute by selling shirts and stickers.
Our Plan
Anyone, any age, any location is invited to go pick up trash in their communities! Think about a space near you that needs some extra help removing trash. This may be along the road, on the beach, along a river, in a park, in the woods, or any other space. Get out one day (or more!) and take action to clean up that area! After your cleanup remember to fill out the Google Form to record your progress. One randomly selected participant will receive a free cleanup shirt! You can order shirts here: https://www.bonfire.com/good-spokes-summer-cleanup-2021/ Google Form: https://forms.gle/geDvUYkHF2utPxeq6 Fill out one form for each cleanup day. Responses will be accepted through August 31st. Winner of a free cleanup shirt will be selected on September 1st :) *We encourage you to look at safety recommendations in your area. This may require you to wear a mask. Please wear brightly colored clothing if cleaning up along a roadside and always wear gloves and other protective gear.
