The Problem
We want everyone to "Give a Sip!" Our goal is to eliminate the use of plastic straws. If needed, we hope the world will switch to bamboo drinking straws if straws are absolutely necessary. Plastic draws have proven to be detrimental to the environment because they are not recyclable, do not biodegrade, and pose a terrible threat to marine animals. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, absorbs CO2, gives off 35% more oxygen than trees, and regenerates itself after harvesting. It is completely renewable!
