Educating and introducing inner city youth to the value of organic gardening.
Our Plan
Students at the fifth and sixth grade level introduced to planting and nurturing seeds, prior to outdoor planting and care. Plant maintenance throughout the summer months by students enrolled in the summer program. Produce harvested in the fall by current intermediate students. A fall harvest celebration held that includes students using cross-curricular activities to predict, infer, measure, design and weigh produce.
