I want my school to be able to plant bulbs and plants that will bring bees. I have already purchased some plants for the school over my two years and I would like some help getting a more well rounded selection for a garden both in my classroom and outside. I would take seeds of native plants such as wildflowers too.
In front of my school we have a 20 foot by 30 foot piece of grass that is not being used for anything. We also have a fig tree and a plum tree with some bulbs that could use some company. I want my school to be attractive to when parents come in and see how much pride we take in the outside appearance and the community around. There are a lot of urban farmers also in the neighborhood and I would like to purchase native bee food plants to attract more bees and help both ours and their plants.
