Make school students take recycling into their homes, not only in school.
Our Plan
I've created a student committee in which students will take care of raising awareness in their neighbors so that they within them become part of a municipal program about recycling. It consists in separating the garbage into recycling materials (all together in one trash) and the rest in another. The plastic bag containing recycled materials is collected by the municipality once a week. This garbage is separated by trained people who were once informal recyclers, and sold to bigger companies. All sorts of new products are created such as benches for parks made from tetra pack. This way students get to understand deeper how recycling works and how to raise awareness on other people and the importance of it knowing how much you can reach.
