The Problem
Our wish for this project is to plant fruit trees that will support a salsa garden during the 2017 summer. We will be planting two avocado trees, a lemon tree and two Pomegranate trees between an existing edible garden space.
Our Plan
We hope our project will spark the conversation on healthy eating. Fresh organic food is very hard to come by in most Los Angeles communities. This garden space will act as an inspiration peace as well as a full learning experience for all participants. We will engage with family and community members in planting all trees during the Halloween season.
