The Problem

Our group would like to create an aquaponic tower garden in our school. This system can use the abundant light we have available from our skylights. It will also provide fresh foods for our school cafeteria and hands-on Science opportunities for our students.

Our Plan

Students in grade 5 will work to construct an aquaponic grow system that can be used inside the school building. They will decide which plants/animals to introduce into the system and monitor their progress.
