The Problem
Our wish for this project is to continue restoring Elmwood Dunes beach by creating an environment more friendly to migrating birds in our area.
Our Plan
Our project wishes will be accomplished by doing multiple things: First, we will use a Roots and Shoots grant to plant a tree on the site. Second, we will monitor bird activity on our beach. To do this our club will mainly search for Warblers, and use binoculars to identify birds we see within each timespan of work. Returning to the site more than once will give us a reliable sample of data.
