The Problem

My wish for this project is to help the kids that need food for their family. We will be growing crops outside of the Boone county jail. The people in the jail, considered as people that are un-useful to the community could be useful if they picked the crops and helped the crops. There could also be people picking up trash at the same time. Are goal is to not make money, it is to help the community and the kids.

Our Plan

We want to do this for are community not for us, that land is not being used, so we are trying to make the best of it. If we get this grant we will be able to start growing the crops this spring. We are partnering with the USDA, so that the inmates can help, and the food is clean. We want to get rid of the unhealthy food, that the school gives the kids on Fridays, and replace it with the healthy, and clean food, that are crops will provide, we are starting in a smaller , but if it becomes successful then we will grow to bigger areas.
