The Problem
There is a High School teacher who teaches Horticulture and he thought it would benefit the Jrs and Srs of this high school who are considered "At Risk" to introduce Floral Design to them. To teach them a skill and tie in the Horticulture side. He had written me into his grant for 2 years and then did not teach enough of the qualified courses for the grant to hold. We want to continue to offer the floral part of the class. We have been amazed at the reaction of the teens who have taken the classes. They love it and I love it.
