Hardee County Animal Control in Hardee County Florida was collection items for their animal shelter. In total, over 9 boxes of donations were collected for the animal shelter over 1 month. For members that lived far away, monetary donations were made online, supplies were sent via the mail, and/or items were donated to a local shelter of the members choice.
Items were collected for Hardee County Animal Control at three locations throughout Hardee County, FL. Three collection boxes were decorated as animal-themed and placed at each collection site. The three collection sites were the Center for Great Apes, and the two public libraries found in Hardee County. Each box had a flyer that listed the items being donated and the duration of the collection drive.
