Here is how the project went:
We had fun getting people together from the neighborhoods to work together and plan for this event. Families were very excited to see the basketball hoop be installed.
Through this project I/we learned:
The kids worked hard together. They got several families' opinions regarding how to install the basketball hoop and where to put it up. It was neat to see them happy to help others out.
What I/we might change:
It took a while to get involvement from the neighbors and the church where the hoop was placed because of COVID, we could not do everything face to face.
My/our favorite part of this project was:
Seeing the children's faces when they knew they were making a big difference in this neighborhood

I think everyone benefitted from hearing other people's perspectives and seeing the world through their eyes
