I wish to encourage acts of compassion in my society by bringing out stories of ordinary citizens who are stepping out to help others and bring about positive social change.
Our Plan
Through my project I'll be bringing out stories of ordinary citizen who are stepping out to help others and bring about positive social change. For this, over the next few months, I have chalked out following activities - a) Creating a platform to connect the underprivileged kids with those who want to help (I have started working on it.) b) Bring out stories of every day heroes, through videos and photos, so as to encourage others to volunteer. c) Bring out the issues effecting people living in the slums – use it as descriptive norm to draw people’s attention to it d) Creating a website for such NGOs/ Project that help these kids. e) Work with prominent social activist (currently working with Dr. Sandeep Pandey - Magsaysay Awardee 2010, India) to understand the social issues.
