F.R.I.E.N.D.S. is ready to expand our "Equine Educational Classes" for children ages 11 to 18 years old. We will be teaching classes in a "Series" of various topics. Students will learn about horses, human compassion and interaction, daily care, feed & hay, body parts, basic first aid and many other topics of interest at different levels.
We are currently trying to raise the funds to purchase a small portable building where we can teach our classes. Our facility is very "rustic" without power and running water so, the portable building will be wired for a generator to run lights and AC so everyone can learn out of the elements. We have already purchased the learning materials, a TV with a DVD player and VHS, we also have a very extensive library, over 300 books, videos & DVD's, that we will finally be able to share with people as we currently have nowhere to keep it. This project is ready to go, we just need the portable building.
