Our Environmental Health Zine Project is a student-led project that brings together creativity, research, and community engagement to explore critical issues of environmental health in Tampa.
Our Plan
Our project focuses on developing a zine in collaboration with local students around the topic of environmental health in Tampa with an emphasis on reaching immigrant communities. We anticipate some key themes that might end up in the zine include mental health, safety precautions for rising summer heat, and the potential of renewable energy in Florida. This initiative is led by a diverse team, all from underrepresented backgrounds, with a University of South Florida student as the project lead.
