The Problem

Students want to fix the trash issue on our campus. Students have determined that the pollution in and around our campus has a lasting effect on the animals that cohabitate on campus and the animals that live in the ocean. They realized the majority of the trash accumulated around the catch basins derive from our school.

Our Plan

Students will pick, sort, and record the trash data every week. The information gathered will be presented to students on campus using QR codes strategically placed in areas where students congregate, and the most trash is found. Students will also include the impact trash has on animals that live on our campus and in the ocean within the data.
