The Problem

I want to help preserve the natural ecosystems that chimpanzees and other great apes live in. Many of the materials that go into making cell phones and other electronics that we use every day come from the the same fragile ecosystems that chimpanzees depend on.

Our Plan

My project will educate the community about the need to recycle electronics. I will collect electronics through my school library and local city library by setting up collection boxes and encouraging classmates and community members to donate their old electronics. I will also write for local news outlets so that my project has a wider understanding and community involvement.
