The Problem

We want to educate our school community so that we can prevent birds from hitting windows in school buildings. We find dead birds underneath large building windows during migration times. We did a survey and we took decals to community members who were interested in preventing the bird strikes. We also added new native plants to our pollinator garden which is a Monarch WayStation.

Our Plan

Send a survey about bird strikes to all faculty and staff The survey helped to bring awareness to the problem Interested community members also received more information We also applied decals to help the birds see windows on campus We added new native plants to our garden
