The Problem

Eating meat. Did you know vegans and vegetarians have a lower risk of heart disease than the people who eat meat? It’s true. Eating meat is worse for your health. It’s also brings on Climate Change. And of course, it’s also worse for animals! OVER 70 billion land animals are killed each each year for food. Eating meat is also not as great for the environment. Those slaughterhouses that kill the animals for meat food — it pollutes the earth and according to The Guardian, “Slaughterhouses discharge wastewater contaminated with blood, oil and grease, and fats, which contains nitrogen and phosphorus pollution – pathogens – among other contaminants. This can cause algae blooms that suffocate aquatic life and turn rivers and streams into bacteria-infected public health hazards.”

Our Plan

Eat less meat. You don’t have to go completely meat-free, but eat it as little as possible. It will help you, the animals, and the earth.
