The Problem

Dowdell is a middle magnet school which focuses in Environmental and Animal Sciences. Our students learn about these themes in classes and through various community partnerships. Our students would like to enhance our learning environment with a student led garden and greenspaces. We can learn from this project as well as beautify our campus.

Our Plan

We would like to redo all gardens and outdoor classrooms. Plants, flowers and vegetables will be planted, cultivated and nourished by our middle school students.
