To teach children how dangerous old,used batteries can be when thrown in the rubbish ....So they must be collected and sent to a special factory
Our Plan
This is an on-going project but the results are studied at the end of every school year .Children 3-6 year olds are encouraged to collect and bring their old used batteries from home and neighbours into school.These are put in special boxes on each floor and at the end of the year collected and taken to a special factory.In class the children are taught by video and photos what happens to the soil and plants when these chemicals leek out ...I'm proud to say that some of our children who graduated to different Primary Schools still continue these collections
