The Problem
It’s about making balloon releases illegal in Washington D.C. so animals don’t get killed. So balloon releases are really bad and when balloons land in the Potomac and Anacostia or anything with lots of water, animals can choke on them and die. So at a wedding or anything if you release a lot of balloons at once it's on purpose and it's really dangerous. I have found balloons and balloon strings on clean ups in Washington, D.C. If an animal encounters a balloon it might eat it and die. If the balloon string gets caught on the animal it also might die. Balloon releases are illegal in other states. Balloons can do damage to all the animals in D.C. or in different countries or even land in the middle of Washington and Virginia!
