Cross-cultural learning experiences are one of the most powerful ways for students to learn about global citizenship and appreciate culture’s role in sustainable development. But around the world, less than 1% of students will access a meaningful exchange experience as part of their education.
A free, 12-week online cultural exchange program designed to equip students with knowledge, skills, attitudes, and resources to design community-action projects that promote intercultural understanding and global collaboration. Students will be matched with a peer from a different country (their DEP partner) and participate in a weekly video call, individual activity, language learning workshops, community reflections, and many more opportunities to interact with other DEP students.
