The Problem

I have experienced "immigrant stigma", whether personally or vicariously through my family. It is this that ignited my passion for advocating on behalf of immigrants and led me to create a platform dedicated to shedding light on the immigrant experience in the United States and emphasizing their invaluable contributions.

Our Plan

In March 2023, 1 began my initiative, Diasporan Archives (DA). At DA, we believe it is crucial to provide a space to highlight the various perspectives that shape not only our individual communities but also our nation. Our primary goal is to educate young people, so we present such topics in engaging and unique ways. We strive to foster understanding, unity, and tolerance through engaging content, vibrant visuals, and personal interviews. Today, the Diasporan Archives team has expanded to four young women living across the United States, and my ultimate vision is for Diasporan Archives to become a registered non-profit organization, extending its reach and impact.
