To reduce our trash production from 2 large bags a week, to 1 large back a week!
Our Plan
1. Keep improving our successful compost program by separating all the organic waste from the students nutritious snacks and lunches. 2. Improve our recycling program by assigning a recycling station to a class. Each class will make sure the recycling station stays organized. Friday´s mornings are the assigned day for a school wide clean-up and making sure the recycling station is well kept. 3. Promote the 3R´s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle inside school and in our community. 4. Monitor the amount of trash produced each month by weighing it and recording the information. 5. Monitor the amount of recyclables produced each month by weighting it and recording the information.
