The Problem
We would like to increase the ability for today's youth (4th-8th grade) to speak for themselves in a persuasive and intelligent manner.
Our Plan
Our campaign is focused on bringing speech and debate activities to under-served populations. By working with the DC library system, we are able to host classes at community locations that are central areas for many students in the community. We teach 1 class per week (roughly 8 classes of instruction per semester). This all culminates in a competition where students get to test their wits against their peers from all over the country.
