The Problem
We can often ask ourselves "How can one person like me make a difference?". It's not always easy to feel inspired.

Together we will learn how one individual truly can make a difference. We will learn about the lesser-known conservation work of Steve Irwin and discover ways each of us can make a positive impact for wildlife and natural places near our own homes and further abroad.
This was a fun and inspiring program! It went well as the children were engaged and interested in learning more. Even nicer, everyone had their own stories to share about how they have helped wildlife or animals near them.
We learned about Steve Irwin and the various conservation projects still going on through Wildlife Warriors. We were also introduced to Steve's Wildlife Warriors' children's program, offering another avenue for families to get involved! As a presenter, I learned to just keep things relaxed, honest and true. I had a slideshow presentation but decided to just keep the pictures and speak from the heart instead! I'm proud to know enough about the topic!
I would like to promote/advertise the programs and projects more. I hope to reach more children and families.
I loved hearing the stories from the families. I also really loved some of the children's questions and observations - particularly when talking about catching 'problem' crocs! It was so heartening to see the understanding these young people have about respecting nature and other beings.
If you would like to learn more about Steve Irwin's Wildlife Warriors non-profit and their children's conservation program (offered for free), you can go to this site: https://wildlifewarriors.org.au/get-involved/visionary-wildlife-warriors/ We have enjoyed completing our 'conservation missions' as a family!
