This is the third craft activity in our overall project of creating an school craft program for a non-profit organization whose mission is to equip homeless families to rebuild their lives by providing transitional housing and a restoration program especially designed for homeless families with children.
This month, we will create colorful inspirational rocks for use in a garden or as decoration. Our wish for this project is to provoke good thoughts and emotions for the kids we are serving who may be discouraged and feeling unsettled. By decorating the rocks we kept our drawings positive, we hope that we will give them courage and happiness throughout their transitional time.
