The Problem
The soil at our school is very dry and lifeless. Adding compost to the soil will make for healthy soil int he garden where we can grow vegtables.
Our Plan
We are planning to collect food scraps that are compostable from the school campus and compost them and use the finished cured compost to build soil in the garden. We will use the funs to purch a compost pile cover, a temp gauge to monitor the heat of the compost pile and we will buy a compost shifter as well.
