The Problem
Colorado Native Bees are important to Colorado because they pollinate Colorado native plants more efficiently than introduced bees (for example the Honey Bee). We want to make sure the Colorado native bee population stays healthy.
Our Plan
We are going to make native bee houses out of glass jars and paper straws and cardboard tubes because most Colorado native bees do not nest in hives, but instead in pre-formed cavities.
